O’Connell. “He is an integral part of this organization and we are excited to continue our work with him on the WCA Board.”

Supervisor Johnson, Jr.’s term as president will run through September of 2015.

Other WCA officers elected at the conference for the 2014-2015 term include Wood County Board Chair Lance Pliml as vice president and Eau Claire County Board Chair Gregg Moore as second vice president. The immediate past president is Sauk County Board Chair Marty Krueger.

“We are grateful to our new officers, as well as the entire WCA Board, for their dedication to this association and commitment to counties,” said O’Connell. “The year ahead is going to be a good one and with a new legislative session starting in January, we will continue to work toward common goals that will benefit all taxpayers.”
