Zoning Specialist/Code Compliance Officer

Zoning Specialist/Code Compliance Officer – The purpose of this position is to assist in the administration and enforcement of the zoning, subdivision, floodplain, St. Croix Riverway, sanitary, and shoreland ordinances; perform zoning and compliance inspections; issue zoning/land uses permits; and handle zoning complaints for Pierce County.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Land Use Planning, Resource Management, Environmental Science, Legal Administration or a related field with one to two years zoning enforcement experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. A valid Driver’s License is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
POWTS Certification preferred.
