Youth Programs Specialist
Washburn County is seeking applicants for a Full-time Youth Programs Specialist the Department of Health and Human Services. This is a newly grant funded position under the “HealthyWashCo: Partnerships 2 Success” Grant. The Youth Programs Specialist will be the primary manager of meeting grant requirements including creation and implementation of programming aligned with the grant, including a focus on school based mental health efforts, programming in the newly established Youth Center, as well as data reporting and grant maintenance. This role will work closely with other prevention staff as well as community partners including schools and other agencies.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related Human Services degree preferred. Two-year degree with two or more years of like experience also accepted or other combination of education and experience to demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in this program area. Must be able to gain Wisconsin Prevention Specialist certification within two years. Starting salary range is $26.59–$30.43/hr plus excellent benefits.
