The Web/Technology Specialist provides technical support for the Douglas County website and social networking platforms, and county-owned electronic tablets. This position is responsible for administering and/or providing clerical assistance in all areas of the office including assistance to the County Board, other county departments, and the general public.
Partial List of Essential Duties
-Administer/maintain Douglas County website (CivicPlus platform) and social networking platforms
-Administer and maintain Douglas County’s electronic tablet program
-Administer passport program
-Provide clerical services to county board committees; including but not limited to attending committee meetings and writing/distributing/formatting meeting minutes and agendas for publication
-Process marriage license applications; maintain application records
-Assist with election-related duties as assigned
-Provide back-up support for county tax-deeded land program
-Metering of county departmental mail
-Cash drawer balancing/Payment Authorization (PA) processing/general entries
-In-person and over the phone customer service
-Participate in ongoing training
-Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent; minimum two years’ experience in an office setting; two or more years of college/technical training in computer science or business-related field preferred; experience in website maintenance/development and IOS/Apple products, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skill and abilities.

$19.79-$21.49 per hour based on 2021 wage scale; full-time 37.5 hours per week.
