Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Performs intermediate skilled trades work operating heavy equipment, trucks, and other equipment, conducting daily inspections and maintenance of equipment, managing the roadway painting operations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Patrol Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in heavy equipment and street operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of Commercial Driver’s License with A, B, C, Air Brake, and “N” Tanker endorsements and Forklift training upon hire. Obtain Miners Rights, Chainsaw Safety, Excavation/Trenching, Confined Spaces, Work Zone Flagger, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, and Federal Emergency Management Agency Introduction to the Incident Command System training within 2 or more years of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

STARTING WAGE: $21.56 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package.
