Job Summary
Position performs technology services for the school under the supervision of the Business Manager. Provides general technical support and maintenance for the school’s client technology devices and applications. This includes basic installation, troubleshooting, repair, upgrade and maintenance of client computers and mobile devices.

Essential Duties
Develop and implements plans to install, set up, and deliver components of client systems including software, applications, PC’s, printers, mobile devices, etc.
Performs maintenance and repairs as needed or directed. Duties include basic and intermediate troubleshooting, response to service calls, identification of root cause of system problems and liaison with vendors. Performs preventative maintenance on systems.
Assist with Audio Visual related duties which may include but are not limited to supporting SMARTBoards, SMART Accessories, TV’s, casting devices and related equipment.
Support users in a blended iOS, Chrome, Windows, and Google Apps for Education environment.
Support users in a virtual learning environment and be able to assist with troubleshooting audio/video and streaming connectivity issues using Google Meet/Zoom/WebEx.
Support users using a variety of mobile devices running on a WiFi network.
Develops and maintains technical documentation for systems.
Maintains accurate inventory of technology equipment and supplies.
Completes operational documentation such as: work order detail, time reporting, project updates, problem logs, equipment transaction forms and other required documentation.
Maintain up to date knowledge of PC operating systems and application software released or supplied by various manufacturers. This may include attending formal or online training.
Performs basic troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on client devices (hardware and/or software) and some preventative maintenance including software patching.
Coordinates warranty repair activities.
Install network cabling in existing building according to industry standards.
Communicates to the affected customer(s) work order and project status, and ensures work is followed through to completion.
Participates in self-study; on the job and formal training as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Associate degree in computers, computer science, electronics or other related field. Working knowledge of PC and mobile device operating systems and applications or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid Driver’s License is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to work independently with direct supervision and training to perform day-to-day operations.
Basic knowledge of data communications technology.
Basic knowledge of one or more of the following:
Personal computers, peripherals, communication networks, device configurations, and associated hardware and software.
Server hardware, applications and interfaces
Custom hardware support
Information Security
Microsoft Windows, mobile and/or web programming languages.
Basic knowledge of Windows operating system
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic knowledge of the Google Suite.
Ability to identify and resolve support problems.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to read a variety of manuals and understand multiple-step instructions.
Ability to work well with technology users.
Ability to establish and maintain effectively working relationships with users.
Ability to work the required hours of the position.
Work Environment
Must participate in and implement all required trainings regarding student and employee safety (medication administration, ALICE, etc.).
The noise level in the work environment can vary, but is usually moderate.
