Truck Driver (LTE) – 2 openings
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, two years truck driving experience, or any
combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. A valid Class B
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsements required. Manual transmission and tanker
endorsement preferred.
Compensation: The 2021 starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Positions to commence in May for a duration of
approximately 5 months working 40 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) on average.
Flagger (LTE) – 2 openings
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Road construction experience preferred. A valid
driver’s license required.
Compensation: The 2021 starting wage is $15.00 per hour. Positions to commence in May for a duration of
approximately 5 months working 40 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) on average.
Department of Land Management Intern (LTE) – 1 opening
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must possess or be pursuing a Degree in
Natural Resources or other related field. Knowledge of soil and water conservation, wildlife ecology and agriculture.
Ability to interpret and use aerial photos, plat books, soil maps and topographic maps. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
and database entry systems preferred. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Must have excellent communication
skills (both oral and written). A valid driver’s license required.
Compensation: The 2021 starting wage is $12.00 per hour. Position available up to 40 hours per week, for a
duration not to exceed four months.
Park Manager (LTE) – 1 opening
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, experience in grounds maintenance, farm work, or
general labor desired or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and
abilities. Experience using tools, machinery and power equipment required. Fluent in both English and Spanish
desired. Prior leadership experience helpful. A valid driver’s license required.
Compensation: The 2021 starting wage is $14.00 per hour. Position available up to 29 hours per week on average,
for a duration not to exceed eight months.
Parks Ground Keeper/Custodian – 1 opening
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, experience in grounds maintenance, farm work, or
general labor desired or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and
abilities. Experience using tools, machinery and power equipment required. A valid driver’s license required. Fluent
in both English and Spanish desired.
Compensation: The 2021 starting wage is $12.00 per hour. Position available up to 29 hours per week on average,
for a duration not to exceed eight months.
