Sous Chef
About Us:
Celebration on Wells is a premier catering company in Lake Geneva, WI, specializing in high-end cuisine for weddings, private parties, and special events. We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team for the summer season, with the opportunity for a temp-to-hire position after the season ends.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in daily kitchen prep and execution of high-end cuisine.
· Support onsite and offsite catering, including private chef services in clients’ homes.
· Prepare and cook for banquet weddings and private events.
· Work within the Celebration on Wells food truck.
· Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
· Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
· This is a physically active role requiring standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequent bending, squatting, and reaching.
· Summer holiday availability (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) is mandatory.
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of culinary experience in high-end cuisine, or related education preferred.
· High-volume catering experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied event locations.

Compensation & Details:
· $20/hour + tips
· Seasonal position with potential for temp-to-hire after summer.
