Social Worker – Part Time

The Chippewa County Department of Human Services presently has an opening for a part-time Social Worker position within the Children Youth and Family Division. The job duties of the Social Worker include providing Ongoing Case Management for Youth Justice. The schedule for this position is approximately 19 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field (e.g. psychology, sociology, etc.) and must possess or be able to obtain Social Work Certification. Prior experience working in Child Welfare and with children and/or adults who have experienced trauma, AODA issues and/or mental health issues preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Wage: $23.61 – $29.74 per hour depending on qualifications. This is a non-benefited position.
