Social Worker – CPS Ongoing

Do you have a passion for helping others? If so, the Monroe County Dept. of Human Services Children and Family Services Unit might have the job for you. We are looking for a full-time Child Protective Services Ongoing Social Worker. Successful candidates will have Bachelor’s degree with major in social work or related field with two years social work experience in a human services agency, Wisconsin certification as social worker or eligible for certification, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and proficient computer abilities.

Our Child Protective Services Ongoing Social Worker provides ongoing case management to engage and empower families to collaborate with the agency to ensure safety and well-being of children and families. This position works collaboratively with the family and service providers to plan, implement, and coordinate services to include foster and relative caregivers. This role is also responsible for completing family assessments and determining the levels of immediate and future risk of abuse or neglect to children and to establish an appropriate response.

Starting salary for this position is $23.67/hr. for candidates without their certification and $25.09/hr. for certified social workers. Monroe County offers an exceptional benefit package to include health, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
