SOCIAL WORKER
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Social Worker position within the Department of Human Services – Recovery and Wellness Consortium. The job duties of the Social Worker position include but are not limited to provide the following types of services: needs assessment, crisis intervention, case planning, advocacy and development of community resources; to provide services to both children and adults with varying disabilities and functioning levels; and to provide responsive, courteous and effective service to County residents and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and must possess or be able to obtain Social Work Certification within two (2) years of hire. Experience in crisis planning, advocacy, knowledge of community resources and ability to work with adults with varying levels of mental health and substance abuse disorders preferred. Starting Wage: $23.61 – $29.74 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $37.18 per hour
