Douglas County is seeking applicants to fill seasonal openings with our Forestry and Highway departments.

Applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age and hold a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or equivalent. No fringe benefits are available for seasonal positions. Additional requirements may be applicable.

Forestry
Lead Seasonal Park Workers: $17-$19 per hour; full-time based on 40 hours per week May – October. Typical hours include weekends.

Seasonal Park Workers: $15-$17 per hour; full-time based on 40 hours per week May – October. Typical hours include weekends.

Limited-Term Forester: $18 per hour; full-time based on 40 hours per week May – October. Typical hours are Monday – Friday.

Highway
Seasonal Highway Laborers: $15 per hour; full-time based on 40 hours per week May – October. Typical hours of Monday – Thursday 4-10 hour shifts.
