Reserve Deputy
This is an on-call, sworn deputy position responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances. Reserve Deputies are relied upon to supplement our full-time staff at various community events, courthouse security, inmate medical transports, inmate transport, recreation patrol, patrol county parks, special events, and to assist with patrol duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in a criminal justice-related degree program or have attained sixty (60) fully accredited college-level credits. Must be 18 years of age, or older, United States citizen, and resident of the State of Wisconsin for one year, be of good reputation, with no felony convictions, be in good health, pass a physical agility test, and pass a pre-employment background investigation and pre-employment drug screening. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
Starting Wage: $20.73 per hour. This is an on-call position.
