Register of Deeds – Recording Office Clerk II
Do you have experience working with land descriptions and enjoy working with the public? If so, Monroe County’s Register of Deeds Office might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a part-time Recording Office Clerk II. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years public office experience and familiarity with land descriptions and/or real estate background is preferred.
Our Recording Office Clerk II performs reception and clerical duties to include complex filing and recording regarding real estate and vital records which requires accuracy and neatness. The ability to work with the public and initiate correspondence is essential in this role.
Starting salary for this position is: $13.00 – $15.50 hourly depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, and more.
