Public Health Coordinator

The full-time Public Health Coordinator provides direction to public health staff and on programs in the absence of the Public Health Director. Focuses on clinic and community-based health assessments and health maintenance services, assisting individuals, families and the community to understand health needs with an emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. Individual will have extensive contact with the public and other service providers in the community. Individual provides appropriate prevention and control of communicable diseases through education and intervention.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a current Wisconsin license as a registered nurse at the time of hire. A preferred applicant will have two years of public health nursing experience and the ability to work a flexible schedule and after hours when needed. Must have a valid driver’s license.
