Patrol Superintendent

Jackson County is seeking a Patrol Superintendent. Under the direction of the Highway Commissioner, this position performs administrative and supervisory work to coordinate the construction, maintenance, and repair of highways, bridges, culverts, and other structures on the State Trunk Highway System and the County Trunk Highway System within Jackson County. Supervises the highway winter snow and ice removal operations and ensures that all work is safely performed in compliance and meets legal requirements.

Requirements: High School Diploma, a valid Wisconsin (CDL) Commercial Driver’s License and ten (10) years’ experience in highway construction, improvements, and maintenance with at least three (3) of those years in a supervisory position. Associate’s degree in civil engineering, management or related field preferred.

SALARY & BENEFITS: $60,673 – $67,620 based upon qualifications, plus excellent county benefits package and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
