Part-Time Program Assistant
Chippewa County is accepting applications for two part-time Program Assistant positions within the Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) – Department of Human Services. The job duties of the Program Assistant include but are not limited to deliver Meals on Wheels and bulk food for Senior Dining program; assist customers in learning about other resources available through the ADRC; order and distribute program supplies; keep delivery vehicle on preventive maintenance schedule. No weekends, no evenings, no holidays – this is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion to serve their community and looking to do so on a part-time basis!
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma required. Knowledge of Chippewa County roads, streets, landmarks, etc. required. Previous experience working with older people and/or people with disabilities preferred. Foodservice experience a plus. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Ability to repeatedly get in and out of a vehicle in a 5-6 hour period (at least 12 times per day). Cell phone and valid driver’s license required. Starting Wage: $12.91 – $14.20 per hour depending on qualifications. This is a non-benefited position. Maximum Wage: $17.75
