Nutrition Site Manager

Are you organized, self-motivated, and enjoy serving others? If so, Monroe County’s Human Services Department – Aging and Disability Resource Center might have the job for you. We’re hiring for a part-time (20hrs./wk.; Mon-Fri @ 4 hrs. per day) Nutrition Site Manager to work at our Sparta location. Successful candidates are preferred to have graduated from high school and have experience in food service operations. Previous experience working with the elderly population is a plus. A valid Wisconsin’s driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Knowledge of available community resources and long-term support services is beneficial.

Our Nutrition Site Manager coordinates and maintains the daily operations of the meal site to include maintaining daily records of participant attendance and needed supply inventory. The Nutrition Site Manager inspects the quality and quantity of food items and records daily temperature checks for compliance with safe food practices. This role will also deliver meals when needed with mileage being reimbursed if their auto insurance meets the minimum liability limits.

Starting salary for this position is $10.00 – $13.00/hr. depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County also offers a remarkable benefits package to include health with vision, dental, term life, and more at a pro-rated cost to part-time staff.
