Mental Health Professional

Do you have a passion for helping others? If so, the Monroe County Dept. of Human Services Behavioral Health Unit might have the job for you. We are hiring for full-time Mental Health Professional. Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or closely related field; as well as being credentialed by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.

Our Mental Health Professional conducts eligibility screenings, mental health assessments, and works primarily within the Comprehensive Community Services, Coordinated Services Team initiative, and Crisis Services programs and provides services to clients with mental health issues and substance-use related issues.

Starting salary for this position is $56,110 – $58,656 annually. Monroe County offers an exceptional benefits package to include health with vision, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
