Mental Health Nurse

Do you have a passion for helping others? If so the Monroe County Human Services Department might have the position for you. We are hiring for a full-time Mental Health Nurse. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse, and a valid driver’s license.

Our Mental Health Nurse provides nursing support services to consumers as part of the behavioral health treatment plan, carries out the medical management of consumers as directed by the Prescriber to include review of medications, administration of medication and injections, works with pharmacies to order medication refills, answers consumer questions about medications, and completes required charting and documentation updates.

Starting salary for this position is: $28 – $30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
