Mental Health Nurse

Are you an experienced and skilled nurse with an interest in mental health? If so the Monroe County Human Services Department might have the job for you. We are hiring for a full-time Mental Health Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with two years’ work experience in psychiatric nursing. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin is required.

Under the general supervision of the Mental Health Clinic Manager, the Mental Health Nurse works primarily within the Outpatient Clinic, Comprehensive Community Services, and Crisis Services programs and provides services to clients with mental health issues and substance-use related issues. This position completes nursing assessments and evaluations at time of admission to the program and ongoing during scheduled appointments. This position will also administer medications, including injectable medications, and complete medication flow sheets.

Hiring Range: $29.88 – $32.27
Grade Range: Min: $29.88 Market: $33.47 Maximum: $38.84
