Job Description:
The Land Development Engineer performs technical engineering and administrative duties to support planning, zoning, and land information operations. The Land Development Engineer role involves developing, coordinating, and enforcing the County’s Stormwater, Erosion Control, Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination, and Floodplain ordinances. The role also involves reviewing construction site plans and stormwater management reports, managing educational programs, and overseeing implementation and reporting of the County’s MS4 permit. The Land Development Engineer will also conduct public and private facility inspections, supervise stormwater maintenance contracts, and address local drainage issues.
