Do you have an interest in the Justice system and enjoy helping others? If so, the Monroe County Justice Programs might have the job for you. We are hiring for full-time Justice Program Specialists. Successful candidates are preferred to have an associate degree in criminal justice or related field. A minimum of one year experience working with correctional clients of adult age is preferred. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.

Our Program Specialists works with the bond monitoring and electronic monitoring program. These positions are responsible for encouraging and giving participants tools needed to make changes in their lives towards sobriety and successful completion of the program, as well as explaining and enforcing the rules of the program while controlling behavior problems and imposing discipline as needed. Our Program Specialists will also develop and maintain individual case plans for participant self-improvement while tracking participant work and home activities while on electronic monitoring.

Starting salary for this position is $18.00 – $19.87 hourly with an approved wage increase to $19.87-$21.00 hourly effective 06/26/2022. Positions are second shift availability with typical working hours scheduled between 12pm-12am with every other weekend off.
