Primary Areas of Responsibility:

Backups: Servers, desktop and laptop PCs to disk, tape, and cloud.

Unified Communication: Phones, Servers, Routers, Gateways, Video, WebEx, MS Teams
Security; Alert monitoring, AV installations, web and SPAM filtering, Active Directory maintenance.
Servers; Windows Server operating systems, vSphere
Network Equipment; switches, WIFI access points, wiring

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor, respond, and assigns alerts to infrastructure team.
Maintains centralized lists of vulnerabilities and status for infrastructure systems.
Maintains and administers MS Server Operating Systems including Active Directory, File/Print and Exchange.
Maintains and administers VMware virtualization software, management tools and interfaces.
Maintains and administers VOIP phones including management tools and interfaces.
Maintains and administers digital video systems including system management tools and applications.
Maintains and administers network systems. These systems include wireless APs; switches and premise wiring.
Maintain inventory records, and system operating documentation. Perform duties in a manner that is consistent with the CCITC core values.
Provide great customer service using strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain, edit, use, and safeguard from unauthorized access confidential information.
Effectively work as part of a team, take direction from others, share knowledge, and build consensus.
Determine work priorities, work independently, and exercise initiative.
Attend conferences, seminars and off-site training sessions as requested.
Act as a technical resource within defined projects.
Coordinate vendor and manufacturer support when necessary.
Keep skills updated regarding new technologies, product offerings, and industry best practices.
Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field One to three years of PC and network systems support and troubleshooting experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and have own transportation to customer sites.

Requires the ability to utilize a variety of reference, descriptive and advisory data and information such as computer documentation, lists, service requests, status reports, computer manuals, databases, technical operating manuals, procedures and guidelines.
Requires the ability to communicate orally and in writing with computer users, department personnel, vendor representatives and computer service personnel.
Environmental Adaptability

Work is normally performed in an office environment under generally safe and comfortable conditions with a limited risk of injury.
This position is remote eligible.
Federal law requires that any individual selected and hired into this position be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Only those individuals with an approved medical or religious exemption are excepted from this legal requirement. Being fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. As a condition of employment, newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
Work may occasionally be performed in other safe and comfortable surroundings without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
Compensation:

This position is an exempt, salaried position. The salary range is $58,697 to $65,748.
