Are you computer-savvy, have a knack for troubleshooting, and enjoy working with others? If so, Monroe County’s Information Technology Department might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a full-time IT Specialist. Successful candidates are preferred to have a bachelor’s degree in computer technology or another closely related field. IT certifications are preferred and helpful. A valid driver’s license is required. At least two years’ of experience working directly with computer systems is ideal or must have an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

Our IT Specialist sets up, maintains, and repairs computers through all County departments. The IT Specialist also perform various network duties to ensure our system is up and running properly.

Starting salary for this position is: $42,000 – $45,921 annually depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, and more.
