Human Services Professional (Substance Abuse Counselor/IDP Assessor)
Calumet County is currently looking for a SAC-IT or SAC to provide both AODA assessments, treatment and education as well as IDP (Intoxicated Driver Program) assessments. Calumet County will provide and fund the IDP training if you are not already trained.
Our main office is located in Chilton but we also have a satellite location in Appleton. Calumet County is known for our excellent benefit package and competitive compensation scale. This position is eligible for the student loan forgiveness program, on-going training/CEU’s are paid for as well as reimbursement for licensure fees.
Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Division Manager and Behavior Health Division Supervisor, provides alcohol and drug abuse assessment (including assessment for operating while intoxicated); individual, family and group therapy; and treatment plan recommendations to clients referred to the Division. Performs related duties as required.
