Highway Traffic Control Technician Seasonal

Chippewa County is currently accepting applications for Traffic Control Technician positions within the Highway Department. The job duties include but are not limited to: provide traffic control of highway/bridge maintenance & construction projects and provide responsive, courteous and efficient services to County residents and the general public. A Traffic Control Technician may be assigned, initially, to only one area, however, as length of service increases, a Traffic Control Technician will be expected to perform work in other areas as needed.

Seasonal employment that averages 40 hours per week, beginning May 1st 2023.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in highway construction is preferred. Wisconsin Flagging Certification training is required and will be provided upon hire. Valid driver’s license required. A cell phone is required.
