The Marquette County Highway Department will be accepting additional applications to fill immediate vacancies and develop an eligibility list for vacancies thru the remainder of 2021 and the 2022 calendar year for a General Highway Laborer position to include all general highway maintenance throughout Marquette County. Position is full time, benefit eligible, with a 2022 hourly range of $20.26 to $22.65 depending upon experience. Additional benefit information is available by using the contact info below.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• The applicant MUST have a valid Class D Driver’s license as well an un-restricted Class A, B, C – Commercial Driver’s License with air brake and tanker endorsements.
• Available to work all hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed and required to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Must pass an Employment history evaluation, a personal interview and pre-employment physical, including drug screening.
