Oneida County is accepting applications for a Finance Technician LTE (Limited Term Employment) position with the Finance Department. Job duties include clerical support, bookkeeping, data entry, assisting customers, general accounting tasks and other office duties as assigned. Position works 12-15 hours per week during weekdays with some flexibility provided on schedule but Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday workdays preferred due to office needs. Job available June through December 2022. The 2022 hourly wage for this position is $18.00 per hour; no benefits offered with this position.

Qualified individuals must have two years (48 credits) post High School education and two years’ work experience in a business office setting, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiar with Accounting System Software such as QuickBooks; Associates degree preferred. Ideal candidates will possess good verbal and written communication skills, good customer service skills, detail oriented, self-starter and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
