Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Facilities & Parks Director within the Department of Administration – Facilities & Parks Division.

Chippewa County is seeking a dedicated Facilities & Parks Director to oversee the operations, maintenance, and improvement of county-owned buildings and parks. This leadership role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, implementing safety policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in facility management, HVAC systems, and capital improvement planning. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required and five (5) years of recent building maintenance experience required -OR- an Associate’s degree in Building Systems or Facility Management, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field required and eight (8) years of recent building maintenance experience required. Five (5) years of recent experience as a building maintenance supervisor required. Experience working with HVAC, pneumatic and electrical control systems required. A cell phone and valid drivers licenses required.

Starting Wage: $41.96 – $47.69 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $57.23 per hour
