Facilities Maintenance Crew

Iowa County seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Crew (40 hrs./wk.) position. Primary duties include, but are not limited to service, repair, replace, order and install components and equipment within County facilities; maintain cleanliness of facilities; and monitor and maintain all equipment within County facilities. Starting pay is $22.87/hr. and a generous, comprehensive benefit package is provided.

Minimum qualifications include but are not limited to the following: high school diploma or GED, and one (1) year of experience working with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. A valid driver’s license is required. Preferred qualifications include: an Associates or Technical Degree in Building, Utilities or Maintenance, licensures in any of the following trades will be considered (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, boiler operation, and HVAC certification).
