This is a a key leadership position within Rock County reporting to the County Administrator or the Human Services Director. This position is responsible for the development and execution of strategic efforts to operationalize the County’s commitment to equity and inclusion within the organization, in the work and outcomes accomplished with clients and customers, and in the community as a whole. Internally, this position plays a key role in assuring that the commitment to inclusion and equity is embedded in the workplace culture across the County. Externally, this position regularly represents the County to the public and engages with community stakeholders, partners and residents to build trust and to understand the unique needs and experiences of diverse populations in order to improve the County’s influence in removing systemic equity barriers that negatively impact outcomes for those we serve.
