Dispatcher Eligibility List

Duties: Performs intermediate technical work dispatching law enforcement and medical personnel to emergencies, assisting the public with emergencies and department policies, managing the support radio, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Lieutenant – Dispatch.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and minimal experience with multi-line phone systems, two-way radios, dispatching emergency personnel, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Obtain Time System certification within 6 months of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

Starting wage: $19.30 per hour. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
