Job Description:

Pepin County is accepting applications for a full-time Department of Human Services Administrative Manager position.

Position Purpose:
Primary duties for the Human Services Administrative Manager position are to provide confidential administrative support to the Human Services Director and other management staff; provide project and meeting management; assist with customer service and reception activities relating to the efficient and high quality customer service in the support staff section; and act as central liaison for the Human Services Department. This position works with little supervision and organizes workflow independently.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Associate Degree in in Administrative Assistant Program or related field with three year of recent related work experience preferred.
• The ideal candidate will also maintain a professional demeanor with the public, build positive professional working relationships, contribute to a team environment, ability to adapt, ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Experience dictating subordinate activities in a responsible manner
• The ability to comprehend and apply County, State, Federal and local policies, or ordinances.

Compensation and Benefits: $ 20.55/hr. -$23.49/hr. commensurate upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
