Position Overview:
As a Crisis/Adult Protective Services Case Manager, you will provide critical intervention and support for individuals requiring emergency mental health services, juvenile custody intake, and adult protective services investigations. You will respond to crisis situations, assist families in need of care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children in your community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to crisis/emergency calls, conduct interviews, home visits, and assessments in consultation with clients, families, law enforcement, and medical professionals.
• Assess the need for protective services, petition the court, and support placement recommendations for individuals in the least restrictive environment.
• Monitor and manage caseloads, keeping up-to-date records and documentation.
• Assist families and individuals with alternative care plans and placements.
• Collaborate with the Crisis Intervention Team and other county departments/agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide on-call emergency response as needed (averaging one week per month).
What We’re Looking For:
• A Bachelor’s or Associate degree (preferred, but not required with relevant experience).
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, family systems, human behavior, health care, and adult protection services.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage time, work independently, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to handle stressful, potentially aggressive situations with professionalism and calm.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Wage & Benefits:
• Hourly Wage: $24.57-$26.07/hour, depending on experience. Additional compensation for on-call shifts
