The purpose of this position is to direct, implement, and monitor the Community Support Program in compliance with DHS 63 and in conjunction with the Mental Health services continuum of care within the Sauk County Department of Human Services.

Essential Duties
Provide clinical supervision to CSP staff – Facilitate daily clinical team meetings, provide monthly individual supervision for all staff, Review and approve all clinical documentation, provide case consultation as needed, assign cases to case managers, Intervene in difficult and/or crisis situations.
Ensure program compliance with DHS 63 requirements – Monitor quality, set program goals, Monitor, and analyze program data, facilitate annual program evaluation, Coordinate with DQA for audits and surveys.
Manage program budget – Review revenues, Review/approve expenditures, Research alternative funding sources, negotiate contracts with vendors, develop annual budget, prepare grant applications, Identify cost savings opportunities.
Direct supervision – Interview/hire new employees, monitor performance, conduct annual performance appraisals, Review time sheets, Review/approve leave requests, Recommend staff discipline/discharge.
Provide ongoing Education and Training to CSP staff – Provide initial orientation and training for all new hires, provide refresher trainings on a regular basis, Provide training in EBP’s as applicable, Coordinate outside training opportunities for further professional development for CSP team members.
Participate on various state and county committees to support state, community, and agency change.
Provide outreach and education to the community by coordinating with NAMI, hospitals, clinics, schools, and other local agencies.
Provide assessment, supportive psychotherapy, and case management services to CSP consumers as needed.
Conduct initial screening assessments for program admission.
Provide crisis interventions as needed.
Provide court testimony and monitor 51 Commitments and Protective Placements as needed.
Attend groups and establish/maintain positive relationships with consumers to promote engagement and participation in treatment.
Participate in Agency Collaborative Forums to support best practice interventions for consumers.
Monitor quality of services from vendor entities.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Please note these hours are subject to change and additional hours may be needed or required. Compensation for additional hours beyond normal working hours are subject to applicable state and federal regulations.

Minimum Training and Education
Required:

Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or another related field.

1,500 hours of supervised clinical experience in a Community Support Program OR 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience in a practice where the majority of the clients are adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Licenses/Certifications:

Licensed as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or

Professional Counselor, or the ability to obtain license within 6 months from date

Wisconsin State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License

Preferred:

1 year of supervisory experience
