The Pepin County Sheriff’s Office, Durand, Wisconsin, is accepting applications for the position of COMMUNICATIONS/CORRECTIONS OFFICER.

Applications are now being accepted for full-time female Communications/Corrections Officer. Also, accepting for the eligibility list. This is a non-sworn position.

Salary and benefits: Starting rate of $19.93 per hour with increases to a four-year level of $24.47 per hour (1/1/2021 pay schedule) with considerations for experience. Current benefits include health insurance, vacation, holidays, sick leave, short term disability insurance, Income Continuation, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, flex spending and Protective Status in Wisconsin Retirement Fund.

Qualifications: U.S. Citizen; Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. Post high school education is desirable. Must complete the following certification requirements; LESB Jailer Certification, Time I & II certification. Must also maintain appropriate 24-hour annual re-certification requirements. Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Basic computer literacy.
