Clerk of Court – Office Clerk II
Do you have strong attention to detail and enjoy the inner-workings of the circuit court system? If so, Monroe County’s Clerk of Courts might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a full-time Office Clerk II. Successful candidates will have one to two years related schooling beyond high school graduation. A minimum of two years legal or court-related experience is preferred. Computer experience is necessary. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.
Our Office Clerk II clerks Circuit Court proceedings by taking proper, accurate, and complete minutes. This position also manages case files and related documents. Our Office Clerk interacts with the public daily in person and by telephone and performs other office duties as assigned by the Clerk of Courts.
Starting salary for this position is $15.00 hourly depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
