Child & Youth Services Case Manager
Richland County Health and Human Services has a full-time 40 hr/wk opening for a Social Worker in our Child & Youth Services Unit providing child protection and/or juvenile justice supervision. Duties include conducting abuse and neglect investigations, family assessments, court services, permanency plans, and ongoing services.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required. State Social Worker certification or eligibility is required, as well as a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Local availability for emergency on-call rotation is also required. The wage range for this 40-hr/week certified Social Worker position is $20.68-$21.62 per hour with county health, retirement, and other fringe benefits. (starting wage for non-certified applicant is $18.99 per hour which increases to $19.42-$19.85 after probation).
