Chief Deputy County Treasurer
Do you have strong attention to detail, experience working with accounting information, and enjoy working with the public? If so, the Monroe County’s Treasurer’s Office might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a full-time Chief Deputy County Treasurer. Successful candidates will have graduated from high school with a minimum of two years office experience in bookkeeping. Banking experience is helpful and preferred.
Our Chief Deputy County Treasurer provides service to the County Board, other Monroe County departments, auditors, other businesses, and the public in receipting, recording and accounting for money received including completing daily and monthly reports. The ability to work with accounting and payment information is essential in this role.
Starting salary for this position is $19.87 hourly. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
