Assistant Highway Commissioner

Dunn County’s Highway Department is currently hiring for an Assistant Highway Commissioner. This position is a highly responsible professional that performs administrative work directing the preparation and review of construction plans, capital improvement projects, and the preparation of long-range capital improvement programs within the Highway Department.

Work involves responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising the timely review of construction plans and drawings for adherence to accepted engineering design and standards and enforcement of applicable codes and standards. Work also involves the preparation and administration of the long-range Capital Improvement Program.
