Do you have strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and an aptitude for fiscal planning? If so, Monroe County’s Finance Department might have the job for you! We’re hiring for a full-time Assistant Finance Director – Human Services Business Services Administrator. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or closely related field. Five years of accounting and budgeting experience with responsibility for final budgets, direct work with fiscal computerized programs, and double entry bookkeeping. One year of supervisory experience is desired. Candidates with equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.

Our Assistant Finance Director – Human Services Business Services Administrator is responsible for fiscal planning and budgeting. This position also monitors and manages the department’s revenues and expenditures including departmental operations and contracted services.

Starting salary for this position is: $53,094-$60,334 annually depending on qualifications and experience. Monroe County offers an excellent benefit package to include health with vision, dental, term life, Wisconsin Retirement System, and more.
