Corporation Counsel
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to represent the county in civil matters under the direction of the Corporation Counsel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor Degree and membership in Wisconsin Bar Association. One to three years local government legal experience preferred.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
The 2022 annual salary for this full-time (80 hours bi-weekly), exempt position is $65,915 to $84,760 (step 16). The expected starting annual salary is $65,915 to $75,337 (step 6), depending upon qualifications.
Trempealeau County’s compensation plan considers annual wage step increases.
