Adventure Park Guides (LTE)
Job Summary
Brown County is seeking energetic individuals to assist with the daily operations and maintenance of the Adventure Park located at the NEW Zoo in Suamico, WI. The Adventure Park consists of an aerial challenge course; including a kid’s course, two 1,000 foot zip-lines and a 50 foot high climbing wall. Employees will be responsible for providing our visitors with a recreational and educational experience from start to finish. Job duties will include customer service, vending and ticket sales, preparing visitors for the course, as well as grounds maintenance and cleaning. Bring out your adventurous side and leave your fear of heights at home!!!
Essential Duties
Ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure for visitors at all times. Safety is our #1 goal.
Maintain quality working relationships with co-workers and visitors.
Assist with equipment and course set up and take down.
Assist with admissions and concessions.
Assist with grounds maintenance.
Maintain records as required by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Must be 18 years or older
Able to complete the appropriate training and receive Level 1 Site Specific Certification sponsored by Brown County. Our park follows all ACCT training and safety policies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Energetic and exceptional attitude
Able to wear a full body harness
Ability to be active for an entire 8 hour shift and apply technical skills
Act professionally
Ability to work varying shifts including all weekends
Able to work in adverse outdoor conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
