ADRC Resource Specialist

This position provides the general public, but particularly adults who are elderly, physically disabled, developmentally disabled, or with mental health or substance use disorders with information and referral to a wide range of community resources; helps inform and educate people about their options; assists in connecting them to programs, services and public benefits; and provides intake, eligibility determination and enrollment into the Family Care/Care Management Organization.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or human services related field and one (1) year of relevant professional work experience with the aging, elderly, or persons with disabilities. Must take and pass the on-line State Functional Screen Training Course within 30 days of hire.
