ADRC Elder Benefits Specialist
The Elder Benefit Specialist assists adults 60 and older and their families who have questions, concerns or issues related to Social Security benefits, Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid or
have need for benefit related advocacy. This is a full-time position located primarily in our Wausau office with some potential travel throughout the ADRC-CW 4 County service region as needed. Usual work hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Bachelor’s degree from an approved college/university, in Social Work, Nursing, or closely related field and one year of related work experience. Work experience with frail elderly or disabled adults in an outreach, social work, case manager, or counseling role desirable.
Necessary special qualifications: A driver’s license and a driving record that meets County standards is required.
