Job Description:

Full-time opening available at the Marathon County Social Services Department. Employee will work in a team environment providing administrative support to staff who provide eligibility for public assistance and provide child welfare services. Duties include, but not limited to, reception desk responsibilities including greeting and registering visitors/clients who meet with staff as well as answering incoming agency phone calls and redirecting to appropriate staff. The individual hired must be dependable, flexible, well organized, have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, be customer service focused and team oriented.

High school graduation or equivalent. One year general office or administrative support experience required. A vocational diploma or associate’s degree in a directly related field may substitute for the experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

COMPENSATION: Starting hourly rate (A12): Minimum $13.45 – Control point $15.47 – Maximum $18.01
